Former Senior Vice President and Chief Accounting Officer of Maxar Technologies. During her tenure at Maxar, from July 2019 to September 2023, she and her team improved Maxar’s capital structure and leverage through two bank debt restructurings, over $1.6 billion in senior notes issued, $1 billion in divestitures, and an equity offering which enabled a strategic acquisition. Prior to Maxar, Ms. Pittman spent 23 years at Northrop Grumman Corporation and its spin-off company, Huntington Ingalls Industries, where she held numerous financial leadership positions including Chief Financial Officer and Vice President Finance and Controller of Newport News Shipbuilding, Chief Financial Officer of Enterprise Shared Services and Information Technology at Northrop Grumman, and corporate Vice President and Chief Audit Executive at Northrop Grumman. Prior to Northrop Grumman, Ms. Pittman worked in public accounting for 10 years at Ernst & Young LLP.
Ms. Pittman is a member of Financial Executives International and Women Corporate Directors. In addition, she serves as Chairman of the Board of Girl Scouts of the Colonial Coast and Board Treasurer of the Virginia Symphony Orchestra.
Ms. Pittman holds an MBA in finance from Dallas Baptist University and a BSBA in accounting/data processing systems and quantitative analysis from the University of Arkansas. She is a certified public accountant and certified information systems auditor. Director of Minerals Technologies Inc. since August 2017.
