Brett Argirakis
Group President, Engineered SolutionsBrett Argirakis is Group President of the Engineered Solutions segment of MTI, an officer in the company and a member of the MTI Leadership Council, the company’s executive management team.
Mr. Argirakis was previously Senior Vice President and Managing Director of Minteq International Inc. and began his career at Minerals Technologies in 1987 in Minteq Sales and progressed through positions of increasing responsibility. He is responsible for Minteq International Inc., the operating division of the company’s Refractories segment.
Before assuming the Vice President position, in January of 2016, Mr. Argirakis had served as Global Vice President & General Manager, Refractories, since 2011. His other leadership positions included: Director of Sales and Field Operations for Minteq in the United States; Director of Marketing, Minteq Europe; and Global Director, Refractories.
He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial Technology from California University of Pennsylvania and Executive Certification in International Management from Vlerick Business School in Ghent, Belgium.
